Youth Leadership New England

By partnering with local New England Baptist churches in youth ministry, we help lay a foundation for lifelong spiritual transformation.

The BCNE is committed to investing in the lives of teens, as well as youth leaders and volunteers. Youth Leadership New England offers churches five opportunities that equip Christian teens to grow in their faith, while training and encouraging adults who serve in church youth ministry.

  • The five least religious states in the US are located in New England, as are America's five "most post-Christian" cities.

  • Less than 4% of New Englanders are part of an evangelical church. That means there are about three times more atheists and agnostics in New England than evangelical Christians.

  • More than 350 churches are part of the Baptist Churches of New England network.

  • Most youth groups average 15 students.

  • Most youth ministry leaders are volunteers.
