Ways Churches Can Give to Support Gospel Work
Churches in our network place a high value on missions and encourage generous giving. Depending on your church’s preferences, you can choose to give in any of the following ways.
We urge you to consider electronic giving — it saves you time and helps us be good stewards by keeping our administrative costs down! If you’ve never used our giving system, please see the instructions below.
Main Giving Options
BCNE churches are strongly encouraged to choose at least one of these two missions giving options. We suggest tithing 10% of the church's undesignated receipts, although each church may determine how much they will give. Churches must give at least $500 per calendar year to the Cooperative Program, the BCNE General Fund, or a combination of the two, in order to remain in good standing.
Cooperative Program
The Cooperative Program is based on the belief that Christians can accomplish more for God's Kingdom when we work together. When your church sends Cooperative Program donations to the BCNE, your gift impacts the entire world for Christ!
Cooperative Program gifts support the BCNE’s ministry in New England, the North American Mission Board’s work around the nation and the International Mission Board’s missionary force throughout the world, as well as the six SBC seminaries and other SBC ministries.

BCNE General Fund
The BCNE General Fund gives churches the option of directing the entire amount of their mission gift to work in New England. Donations to the BCNE General Fund will help support training for New England pastors and leaders, BCNE church planting partnerships, strengthening local connections, reaching the next generation, mission opportunities and more.
Email BCNE Executive Director, Dr. Terry Dorsett, to learn more. You can also give online using the secure link below. Select the fund “BCNE General Fund.”
Additional Mission Giving Options
Please note that while we encourage giving to all of the following offerings, these gifts alone will not keep a church in good standing with the BCNE.
New England Mission Emphasis
The New England Mission Emphasis provides for local mission work that is not funded through our regular budget or Cooperative Program giving. 100% of gifts to the New England Mission Emphasis are used to fund community outreach and meet emergency needs in local churches.
We encourage your church to highlight the New England Mission Emphasis by praying and taking a special offering or giving from your church budget each year. You can give at any time by using the secure link below and selecting the fund “New England Mission” using the secure link below.
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions supports 3500+ missionaries sent out by the International Mission Board. 100% of your gifts directly support missionary work in nearly every country around the world.
Learn more on the IMB’s website. Although the offering is usually taken in December, you can give online at any time by using the secure link below and selecting “Lottie Moon Missions.”
Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions supports 2000+ missionaries sent out by the North American Mission Board. 100% of your gifts directly support missionary work in North America and Canada.
